This storyboard shows different aspects of my life. The image on the far left is my attempt at relaxing on a beach. I don't do this very much; in fact I'm terrible at sitting still. The next image is of my dog and my roommates dog barking at the squirrels that torment them daily. I found this completely amusing. Next are my running shoes. I've worn them out completely but there is satisfaction in seeing them used and frail. It shows how much I use them. On the opposite side of the storyboard is an image of Hanging Lake. This was a hike I did recently and it was so rewarding getting up there. I wish I could hike more. Then next to it is a pumpkin spice latte. I love fall just for this very reason. Coffee is a major addiction for me but I refuse to give it up. Then coming in more to the left is my dog Stella. Every morning we have a discussion about how she needs to eat her food. She always wants my breakfast so she purposely waits to eat hers. You can see the dog food behind her. Then I have a picture of her and myself after a long run. I included this because we are both so happy. We have this bond through running that is indescribable but this photo seems to capture that bond. On the other side is a picture of my car with a sticker that says Rincon, Hwy 413, the road to happiness. I went to Rincon this past summer and figured myself out again. I felt happy and content. I hate bumper stickers but this one was perfect for my vehicle. I also included it because I just paid off my car. The middle and biggest photo is of me after a run on the beach in Rincon. It was early in the morning; early tide was just finishing and the clouds were so beautiful. All I could think about was how complete I felt, how satisfied. I had just done a tough run in the sand and felt amazing. I picked this as my focal point because it represents me on so many levels. Strong, independent, confident, and able to tackle all obstacles that come my way.
